We would like to thank our project partners and consultants for their time and contributions to this project. It would not have been possible to develop such an extensive and inclusive practical guide for practitioners without their expertise. We would also like to thank those who were involved in the three research projects which provided the foundations of this guide. This includes the programme attendees and practitioners from Dr Renehan’s doctoral and postdoctoral projects, and the Neurodivergent-led organisation representatives who offered invaluable insights.
We would also like to thank practitioners from the guide pilot sites who attended pilot training and set out with such enthusiasm to embed the guide into practice. We set you a huge and quite impossible task to undertake in such a short space of time. We look forward to revising future iterations of the guide through your feedback and practice-based wisdom.
It was an honour and a privilege to receive such an enthusiastic, critical and insightful review of the draft guide from Rodney Vlais (Independent Domestic Abuse Consultant, Australia). We hope to continue to learn from your expertise.
Finally, thank you to Saz Hider for their creative visualisation of the Double Empathy Problem.
